After earning a law degree and a brief stint in notary work, Raluca Leafu followed her true calling into the world of jewelry design. With just €200, she founded Bon Bijou, curating quality, accessible pieces that filled a gap in Romania's mass-market accessory scene.
The pandemic inspired Raluca to take things even further, creating Joule Project, a premium jewelry brand that celebrates nature's raw energy through fine pieces. As Founder and Creative Director, she designs unique, statement jewelry using precious and semi-precious stones, aiming to offer meaningful, lasting value beyond aesthetics. Under her leadership, Joule Project has expanded its reach beyond Romania to markets in the United Kingdom, Japan, and Portugal, with plans to enter the United States and further develop in Asia.
