A writer, theater director, and eternal dreamer, Chris is the visionary behind Grivița 53, Romania’s first-ever community-built theater. With more than 25 years of experience putting together boundary-pushing performances, from national stages to makeshift underground venues, Chris has never waited for permission to express something real.
She imagined Grivița 53 long before it had walls. For nearly two decades, she held onto a vision of a space that belonged to people and where art could breathe, speak truth, and outlive its makers. Her work is less about spotlights and more about spirit, a commitment to making room for the stories that matter.
