If culture had a CFO, he might look a lot like Tiberiu Mercurian.

With 25 years of experience in marketing across FMCG, finance, and brand strategy, Tiberiu knows how to grow ideas into institutions. He’s led iconic brands, built powerhouse teams, and now, he brings that same strategic mind to the world of art.

Together with his partner Chris, Tiberiu co-founded Grivița 53, a one-of-a-kind project to build Romania’s first theater created by and for the community. He often jokes about being the “keyboard guy” in a room full of artists, but he fits in quite well. Part business brain, part cultural believer, Tiberiu bridges two worlds that don’t always speak the same language.
