Claudia Cruceru is Head of Visa Direct for Central and Eastern Europe, with two decades of experience in banking and the payments industry.
In her current role, she leads the development and expansion of Visa’s money movement solutions across multiple markets, covering products such as Visa Direct, Cross-Border Solutions, and B2B Connect.
Her work focuses on extending Visa’s capabilities into areas like transaction banking, cash management, and remittance infrastructure across the CEE region. Before joining Visa, Claudia held roles within a leading European banking group, working across Austria, Italy, and Germany.
Her background includes leadership positions in product development and business strategy across consumer finance, retail banking, and payments. Her experience brings together deep industry knowledge and a strong focus on building scalable financial solutions in a rapidly evolving payments landscape.
