Răzvan Rusu is the founder and operator of Răzvan Idicel, an artisan food brand built in a small village in Transylvania, around a simple idea: authenticity comes from how things are made, not how they are marketed.
At 23, he chose a different path, moving to Idicel-Pădure, a village of just a few hundred people, where he started with a single cauldron and small-batch production. In the beginning, everything was made by hand, alongside local know-how and traditional recipes, adapted with a personal approach. What started with a few hundred jars has grown into a business producing over 1,000 jars daily, while maintaining the same production method, cooking over wood fire and focusing on quality and consistency.
