Claudiu Teohari is bringing a pioneering stage presence to FOMO 2026.
Known simply as Teo, he is one of the founders of modern Romanian stand-up and has been on stage since 2004, when he first performed at Café Deko in Bucharest. Originally working in advertising as a copywriter, he quickly transitioned to comedy as his live shows gained momentum and his material began reaching larger online audiences. Alongside Viorel Dragu (Vio) and Costel Bojog, he helped shape a new generation of comedians and played a key role in popularizing stand-up across Romania.
In 2009, together with Vio and Costel, he co-founded Club 99, one of the most important stand-up venues in Romania, expanding his role from performer to ecosystem builder. Through live shows, television projects, online specials with millions of views, and independent initiatives, Teo has been instrumental in turning stand-up from a niche format into a major entertainment category in Romania.
